Contest on 21st March!
We had a fruitful and fantastic in-house speech contest night in spite of the beast from the east blowing the snow everywhere. In the
beginning, to relieve the contestants' stress, Contest Chair Simon Bucknell led a brainstorming game with all the
guests.
International Speech!
Five
contestants delivered five totally different topics but all memorable! Robin
Alcott shared her four-cat story with the title “The Ultimate Role
Model.” Interestingly, Ben Starling
mentioned his dog experience with the title “Lucy in the Sky.” Monika
Swiderska opened up with the blaming from her mother and discussed that the
right way is what you say. Carolina Castillo provided her dramatic
love story to showcase that relationships are built on trust. Eva
Yang explained the principle of her sacrificed metal with a romantic story.
Evaluation!
Guest
speaker Noor Khan encouraged the audience to embrace the dragon in our
dream. Five evaluators gave him tremendous praises as well as constructive suggestions:
David Lennon, Eva Yang, Errol Williamson, Chinkata Okpara, and Carolina
Castillo.
